The call is already in the system the work lives in

Video is the one tool every business already pays for twice — once as a subscription, and again in the gap between the call and the records the call was about. Here it is part of the free layer, and the call sits next to the customer, the job and the tasks it produced rather than in a separate product with its own login.

Start a call without scheduling one first

Most of the calls a small business makes were never in a diary. There is a page that just starts one and gives you the link to send.

  • Start a call with nothing booked in advance
  • Or open the call from a meeting that was scheduled — same room either way
  • Real peer-to-peer video: a direct connection between participants, and a media server behind the same interface when a call is too big for that

The person you send it to needs no account

A shared link opens a page with the meeting, a box for a name, and then the call. No signup, no download, no shell — because the person on the other end is not a user of your system and may never be one.

  • No account, no install, nothing to create before joining
  • The guest's credential is scoped by the server to that one call and refused everywhere else
  • A guest who arrives early is told the call has not started rather than opening your room for you

A permanent room that cannot start a call without you

You can have a room link that never changes and put it on a signature or a booking page. It resolves to a live call when you are in one, and to "not started" when you are not.

  • One personal room link you can share once and reuse
  • The link CANNOT open a call — that is enforced on the server, not by hiding a button
  • So a link you shared two years ago is still just a doorway, not a key

What Video calling runs on

Hold this on its own, or add the modules beside it when you want them — they share one login and one set of records. See the module library and pricing.

  • Business Tools — video, meetings and chat (free)
  • CRM
  • Projects
  • Field Service
  • Scheduling

Questions buyers ask

Do the people I invite need an account?

No. A shared link opens a page with the meeting details and a box for their name, and that is the whole surface — no signup, no download. Their credential is issued by the server for that one call and is refused everywhere else in the API, so a guest link cannot reach anything else in your system even by accident.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Video, meetings and chat are part of the free Business Tools layer that every account holds — the same layer as the org chart and quarterly goals. There is no video module to buy, which is also why this page has no demo link: there is nothing here being sold.

If I share a permanent room link, can someone use it to start a call without me?

No, and this is deliberate. The room link resolves to a live call only when one is already running; it cannot create one. That rule is enforced on the server rather than by hiding a button, which is what makes a link you shared long ago a doorway rather than a key — the failure mode a never-changing personal meeting ID normally has.

Does it record or transcribe calls?

We are not claiming it does. There are policy settings for recording consent, retention windows and a transcription cap — but settings for a thing are not the thing, and we have not verified the capability itself end to end, so it does not appear here as a feature. What is real after a call: action items promoted out of a meeting land as tasks in Projects rather than in someone's notes.
