Planned maintenance, breakdowns and installs on one board
HVAC runs on two clocks — the maintenance you promised and the breakdowns that arrive anyway — and they compete for the same engineers. When the schedule, the parts and the costing live in different systems, the second clock always wins and nobody can prove what it cost.
Planned visits raise themselves
A maintenance plan holds the customer, the site, the visit type and a cadence, and raises the visit for each period — so the work you promised appears on the board next to the breakdown that just came in, instead of living in someone’s head until it is late.
- Maintenance plans raise visits on a monthly, quarterly or annual cadence
- Each raised visit knows the plan and the period it covers, so cover is auditable
- Breakdowns and planned visits are the same kind of job on the same board
Return visits, so first-time fix means something
A revisit can be linked to the job it repeats, with a reason. Without that link a first-time-fix rate reads a flat 100% forever — technically true and useless.
- Book a return visit from the completed job it belongs to
- A required reason, so "unrecorded" is never mistaken for "not rework"
- Rework visible per customer, job or cost centre
Units, parts and what the visit actually cost
Parts come off the van against real stock, serial-tracked units stay attached to the job, and materials and labour roll up per visit.
- One item catalogue behind inventory, purchasing and jobs
- Serial and lot tracking through to what was fitted on site
- Estimates marked as estimates rather than presented as fact

Questions operators ask
Do maintenance contracts generate their own visits?
Yes. A service agreement holds the customer, site, visit type and cadence — monthly, quarterly, annual — and raises the visit for each period, carrying the plan and the period onto the job. The plan shows how many visits it has raised and which period is due next, so a contract you are behind on is visible rather than discovered by the customer.
How do we know our first-time-fix rate is real?
A return visit is booked from the job it repeats and a reason is required. That link is what makes the number mean anything — without it every job looks like a first-time fix, which is technically true and tells you nothing.
Does it optimise routes?
Routes are part of dispatch; route optimisation is a separate module you can add if you want it. We would rather say that plainly than imply optimisation you have not bought.
Do we need the whole platform?
No. Field Service stands on its own and you add Inventory, CRM or Finance when you want them. And there is one company behind both the software and the setup — you are not buying a product from one vendor and hiring another to make it work.
