Retail inventory with e-commerce orders, in one system
Retail breaks when the shelf, the register, and the online store disagree. Alef Solutions runs all three on one item catalog and one customer record, so a sale anywhere is stock everywhere.
One stock position across store and web
Inventory movements from POS sales, storefront orders, receiving, and counts all write to the same ledger — per item, per location.
- Barcode scanning at receiving, counting, and the register
- Item labels printed from a built-in template designer
- Storefront orders from the Website module land in the same system
A register that knows your customers
The Point of Sale module sells packages and plans against the same CRM records your marketing and service work uses.
- Guided checkout: package → customer → confirm
- Customer purchase history in one place
- Payments tracked alongside orders and reports
Replenishment that keeps up
Purchase orders, supplier catalogs, and reorder defaults keep fast movers on the shelf without spreadsheet gymnastics.
- POs feed scan-first receiving and put-away
- Reorder defaults per item
- Staged stock counts to keep accuracy honest

Questions operators ask
If someone buys the last one in the shop, does the website know?
Yes — the shelf, the register and the storefront read one item catalog, so a sale at the counter is stock everywhere immediately. There is no sync job between a POS and a web store because there are not two systems to reconcile; that is the whole reason to run them on one record set.
Can we sell the same customer in the shop and online without two profiles?
One customer record is shared by POS, CRM and the storefront, so their purchase history is one history regardless of where they bought. That is what lets a returns conversation at the counter see an online order without anyone looking it up in a second tool.
Do we need the website builder, or can we keep the site we have?
Keep it if you like it. The Website Builder is a separate module and nothing else depends on it — Inventory, POS and CRM work fully without it. It earns its place when you want the storefront reading live stock and prices rather than a catalogue someone updates by hand.
What does Alef not do for retail?
There is no in-built loyalty-points engine, no marketplace channel integration (Amazon, eBay), and no built-in shipping-carrier rate shopping. Ecommerce orders and fulfilment are covered; multi-channel listing is not. Ask early if any of those are load-bearing for you and we will scope it rather than let you find out later.
